Microsoft at a crossroad

So Microsoft has a new logo and beyond this a new corporate identify and beyond this Microsoft has reach a crossroad.

Microsoft has exhausted the growth potential of its current product line, mainly windows and office products, and time as come, mainly because of competitive pressure and technology advancement, for Microsoft to change the road it’s on.

I hope it can make bold move, “betting the company” on this kind of move. Some evidence says it’s tempting to do those moves and some others tell me it’s just copying others.

For example, Bing, outlook.com and mostly Windows phone are basically copying or catching up with the competition.

Windows 8 and Surface are bolder move because Microsoft is showing signs that it’s ready to let the past go and jump ahead in the future.

The world needs Microsoft and I hope it will find its way into the future by offering innovative products to consumers and corporates.
